March 30- April 3

Hello 1B!

I hope that you had an enjoyable weekend! I had a very eventful weekend full of organizing my closet! 😊

In efforts for another successful week of remote learning, here is what we have coming up!

Packets

If you are printing from home, the packets can be found here: https://archwayarete.greatheartsamerica.org/.

Click on the "at home learning packets" link and the password has been emailed to you. Scroll down to see the link to the packets for this coming week.  You will find two versions, Packet A and Packet B.  Packet A is the complete packet (instructions, readings, student pages, etc.) and packet B includes only the pages that you will need to print. Please hold on to the completed packets. Instructions for turning in the packets will be forth coming.

Class Zoom Meetings (optional but encouraged)

To connect our class this week, we will have 3 opportunities to meet over zoom. Zoom invitation links have been sent via email.

*By logging into Zoom through the invitation, you consent to your child participating in an electronic group forum with the teacher as host and with other students.  Other individuals may be in student homes, so please be careful to set up your child in a quiet area and possibly to use headphones and sit with their back to a wall.  Hosting teachers may mute participants as needed. No recordings of the session will be available to the public.   Please do not record (video, audio, or picture) any part of the session.

Tuesday, 3/31, 9:00am- 9:30am – Community Building. If your child has a collection that they would like to share, they are welcome to show it.  Please make sure it is right by them so that they do not need to leave to go get it. 

Wednesday, 4/1, 2:00pm -2:30pm- Poetry Recitation. If your child would like to recite their March poem for our class, they will have the chance!

Thursday, 4/2, 9am- 9:30am- Whole Class tutoring. Students may come with any questions about the learning that they may have. They may also bring their pet rock to show to the class.

Birthdays
A birthday shout out to Ezra and Hazel who celebrated their birthdays during our extended spring break and a birthday shout out to Jude who's birthday is on Tuesday! Happy Birthday scholars!
