Week 20

Greetings 1B Families,

Happy new year and welcome back! I hope that you and your family had a wonderful holiday and are ready for a wonderful 3rd quarter. I enjoyed the break by spending time with family and friends in Chicago land but am ready to be back with your sweet kiddos!

Second quarter evaluations and checklists were emailed out on January 3rd. Please review and feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

You will notice that your child will have a new math workbook.  Old workbooks will be sent home this week and can stay at home.  We will also be learning 20 phonograms each week for the third and fourth quarter. Students also have new levelled readers beginning this week.  Please keep food and liquids away from the books as they are paper copies.  We want them to last awhile! Thank you!

Today we will discuss what this new year will hold for us and each child will come up with one resolution.  We are looking forward to a great third quarter!

Shannon Dawson
