Week 25

Greetings 1B Families,

It has been a wonderful week in 1B!  The scholars enjoyed making a model of blood today and I’m sure that they will be excited to tell you all about it tonight!

Friday, February 14th is Great Hearts Day! We have reserved this special day to focus on the virtue of friendship and celebrate the traits that make a great-hearted student. We are planning interactive and fun activities centered around these topics. Archway Arete strives to cultivate a rich, academic environment rooted in the classical tradition. This many times requires popular culture to be left at the door. On that note, students will not be permitted to bringstore-bought valentines, candy, or gifts to school. Thank you for partnering with us. We will be making a friendship mix.  Please have your child bring in a sandwich baggie of their favorite, nut-free cereal!

Have a wonderful long weekend!

In pursuit of truth, beauty and goodness,

Shannon Dawson
